Cannon Beach. We were quite excited to see our first set of sea stacks. Despite the wind and freezing air, we dutifully took our pictures. A glorious sunset at the end of "Three Cape Loop": Cape Kiwanda. Cape Perpetua. We passed various sights with names like: Devil's Punch Bowl, Devil's Kitchen, Devil's elbow, etc. But it was a sunny calm day, Devil is no where to be seen.

Cape Perpetua Bridge Bandon beach in the bright setting sun. Umpqua Sand Dune. Some of these dunes are as high as 500 ft! Truely a desert by the ocean.

This beautiful scene kept us company as we drove from Bandon to Gold Beach, where we spent our second night on Oregon Coast. Mommy of 14! The lovely Oregon Trail Lodge's Manager told us he was in possesion of 14 kittens! Half of them were just like my Paris, and another half were white kittens with grey tail, grey ear and grey nose.
