Panorama Trail - From Glacier Point to Yosemite Village, May 26, 2001
My mind is a small child, getting lost in the sublime wonders of a hidden valley, called "Yosemite."
The hike starts with a panorama view of Half Dome, Liberty Cap, and Nevada Fall.
Ready to hike? Ready!
Black Forest.
Snow Plant is plentiful
"Take a picture for me!"
After two miles of gentle downhill in the black forest, we reached the top of Illilouette Fall.
Illilouette Creek rushing over the golden granite slab.
"Bullet the Blue Sky..."
Climbing up to Nevada Fall, we had a view of Yosemite Falls and Yosemite Valley.
Approaching Half Dome.
Suddenly, a little cloud appeared on the endless blue sky!
Incense Cedar
On the top of Nevada Fall.
We had lunch by the creek above Nevada Fall. The water was so clear! Icy too.
Bird's eye view of Nevada Fall from the top.
Thunder
Looking back from the John Muir Trail. Nevada Fall nicely curved around Liberty Cap like a strand of silk.
Wild flower on the edge of the cliff.
Stream formed by melting snow were everywhere.
Rainbow
Maples by Vernal Fall.
Merced River.
A window with a view...
Hanging Rock at Glacier Point.
Nevada and Vernal Falls formed a giant stair case.

Once upon a time, this was beneath the tongue of the last Glacier; then, the ancient Lake Yosemite; and now, Yosemite Valley finally was under the sun; what is to come, tomorrow?
